Can You Really Get What You Want Simply by Shifting Your Focus?

Old Hag or Young Woman?

You absolutely can get what you want simply by shifting your focus from what’s “out there” to what’s “in here.”

It’s all about noticing your thoughts, noticing your emotions, choosing the ones you want, and taking the necessary action steps to make them happen.

What’s “out there” doesn’t change. What changes is what your mind and emotions do with what’s “out there.”

It’s just like looking at an optical illusion. Once you understand the different ways your mind can organize “what’s out there”, you can choose what you want to see, what thoughts you want in your head, what emotions you want in your heart, and bring them into your life.

Please please please read the book Spontaneous Evolution, Our Positive Future (And a Way to Get There From Here) by Bruce Lipton and Steve Bhaerman. It will change your perspective on who we are and how we perceive our world. Let me know what you think.

    Hi, Paula,

Thanks so much for mentioning “Spontaneous Evolution.” While I have not personally read the book, I am a strong supporter of Hay House publications.

I just flipped onto Amazon’s “Search Inside the Book” feature, read the first few pages of “Spontaneous Evolution”, and couldn’t agree more. Interesting that Lipton and Bhaerman use the same optical illusion I inserted here in my original post. It is also one of many optical illusions I use throughout my own book “Shift: Change Your Words, Change Your World” to make a similar point. What’s there is there. There are many ways our minds can structure what’s there. If each of us chooses the structures that work best for ourselves and others, together we can create a peaceful, powerful, prosperous planet.

    Warm regards,

    Janet
